Sitting, Waiting, Wishing

Now I'm sitting waiting and wishing on my guarantee form. I've found myself waiting a lot this past year through the Rotary Youth Exchange program. Waiting to find out whether I've been accepted by my sponsor city and district program. Waiting to find out what country I'll be going to. Waiting to find out my city and host family. Now I find myself waiting on my guarantee form. A most precious piece of paper that enables me to actually file for my visa. It seemed like Argentina was forever away at the beginning of the summer but now mid July my time is starting to feel precious as my assumed departure date lingers closer. But as much as I want to be in Tres Arroyos, Argentina for now I just have to wait just like I did a year ago. But please Argentina hurry up! I'm excited to come and I would love to have an answer to everyone's favorite question....."So when do you leave?" But for now I'm just gonna be sitting waiting and wishing.
